Young Kiwi Andre Heimgartner competed in the latest round of the New Zealand based V8Supertourer series on the weekend at Pukekohe. He debuted a new look to his Holden Commodore I completed recently. Unfortunately after a 4th and a 5th in the first two races he struck problems in the final so had a dissapointing overall round, still sitting 4th overall in the points though.
Month: March 2014
Speedway season has, or is just about, wrapped up in this part of the world. That means it’s time for some design fun for guys like me. The winter is spent firing out proposals to sponsors, and tempting them with an exciting look for their car is my job. Above are a couple concepts i’ve been playing with recently, just in my spare time, one for Michael Pickens’ Century Batteries car, and the other for young gun Jamie Larsen.
One of the perks of now being Melbourne based is that the opening round of the 2014 F1 World Championship was in my back yard. An exciting start to 2014, I’ve up and shifted to Melbourne, Australia. After 26 years in Christchurch it was time for a change. Luckily I’ve been able to carry on my work with the many clients i’ve come to work with in NZ, and hope to continue doing so, whilst also expanding here in Oz. I’ve also left the awesome team at Whitebait-TV after 4 amazing years there. I’ll be posting new work here, and of course as always on my Facebook Page, facebook.com/grangerdesign. I’ll also be posting some more bloggy type stuff here going forward too.
